Phew!

Phew not just because of all the snow there was here and the crazy amount of ice that is left behind but also because we didn't have an Internet connection for 5 days! Argh it felt like someone had removed a very important limb, not nice and it just goes to show how heavily we rely on the good old t'internet nowadays. Funnily enough not being able to move my car hasn't bothered me in the slightest though! The above pic was taken in a public park called Workman Gardens in Evesham. The arch is a whales jaw bone given to someone important by somebody important a long time ago in the year something hundred and something something! Ha sorry haven't read the plaque on it since I was a kid so all of that info is missing, still don't it look pretty!
Have shifted my wheel into the kitchen with a pile of clay stacked in the front room so I can get some pots made, I have had a joint exhibition confirmed at a gallery in Oxfordshire early Feb so need a selection of 2010 work and not just press moulded dishes because i'm being a wuss about the cold! Hope you are all safe, warm and happy, cheers.

I love that you have your wheel in your kitchen! I did that last year when I was working on the deck and the bugs nearly carried me off. God bless my family for putting up with this. Right now I have two sinks full of bisque that I am washing and pots all over my kitchen table. I moved my wheel up to a bedroom, but the three flights of stairs to my kiln are sucking! One day we will have our very own lovely studios!!!!

There you are.:).glad you checked in, as I was wondering how much snow you have in your area and how you were managing in the cold weather.
Good luck with the potting in the kitchen :). and hopefully warm weather is on the way.
Cheers, Trish

Hey, Doug. Let me know if you haven't gotten my emails the past few days about the potters/bloggers show in the fall. Email to hatchvillepottery@comcast.net.
Hope you're dug out by now.

Sorry, Matt. I knew this was you, but I'm sending the same kind of note to Doug.
