I don't avoid it Scott, I think it's kind of cool to see a small dribble of white slip inside. I have blocked them up in the past with a small blob of clay while pouring the slip over but think it's nice to see how a pot was made at every stage by things such as slip dribbles. All tells a story don't it :) Cheers.
Nice work Matt, just did a big catch up on the blog, the pots are looking great, I wish I could do as much experimenting, youv'e got some great results.

Love it....them. How do you stop the money box from filling with excess slip, or does a quick pour generally avoid that?
