we stayed outside of San Francisco on a road named kiln brick road at at condo that cost big bucks.
Down by the pool were the remains of two kilns that looked a lot like these. It was funny to see them there- but a treat for us who love bricks made into kilns!

Hi Meredith, this is a blue brick kiln somewhere in Stoke on Trent taken in 1956. Nice picture isn't it, in our little town of Evesham is a road named Brick Kiln Street but sadly any evidence of them has gone but after a little delving for info at the local museum they informed me that they were kilns used to dry the ingredients for a local brewery. Hope you are well, cheers.
