New Plates 11" across, Tig made the one in the middle all I did was trimmed it! Multi talented that girl I'll tell thee.

Old Buckley Barm or Yeast pot. I found this one in a shop today, cheap as chips!
I've increased my firing temp by 30c and allowed the plates to soak for an hour and it's made a huge difference to the finished pots. They are inspired by a nice Dylan Bowen Platter I have on my wall. Pleasing results I might do a few refires and see if I can get a few slip trailed pots to get a little more movement going on with the higher temp and soak. Might be the beginning of something that floats my boat more than the results of the way I have been firing for the past few years. Of course it's not as pleasing to me as a wood fired pot but the result is getting closer.

Hey Matt, The cat's away tomorrow and I'm ready to play. Shall we have a beer or two this week?

Excellent,Matt, Wednesday would be great. The pub here in Conderton has new owners and it's much improved. We could meet there if that works? You pick the time

Hi Matt, had the pleasure of purchasing two of your gorgeous mugs from Cheltenham Museum yesterday, I could not resist them. We are drinking our tea from them already. I'm pleased to see you have an Etsy shop, but do you have an open studio in Evesham?

Cheers Trish, I have just been catching up with you over at your blog. Nice to see you are good and have been having fun. Thanks for the kind words.
Hi PG, thanks so much for looking me up. I hope you have many many cups of tea from your mugs and continue to enjoy them. I will have an open studio in Evesham very soon as I am just about to move into a much larger space. I work at the moment from a small studio at my home which is not open to the public but will post more info as and when it happens over here on my blog. Once again thanks.

Excellent, I'll look forward to that - might want another mug to add to our little collection.
